To search the database, simply select one radio button according to which category you wish to search and how. Then just enter a search string and click on "Start Search". The server will then search and match all entries that contain what you type in, and produce a list for you to view and click Go!
This database was brought to you by a combined effort from Stephen Smith (collecting data) and Benedikt Heinen (SSD code). However, it based on the excellent idea that Steve had yonks ago, namely the original Sinclair Software Database, which used to be at this site up until 27th Oct 1997. Now - also the original link to SSD points to that new version.
A little side note: the current version of SSD is yet another new version brought up on 27th May 2002; since a system upgrade inadvertently broke compatibility to the previous version (which unfortunately used some really old software...
It does of course go without saying that none of this would have been possible without the tireless work that the men and women of comp.sys.sinclair did to bring you all this information. The Spectrum is more alive than ever!
